The Olympia High School girls soccer team stormed into Doc Harris Stadium and topped the Camas Papermakers 1-0 Thursday night.
Senior Aspen Mayes provided the lone goal for the Bears in the 58th minute. Junior goalkeeper Gracie McCaughan kept the Papermakers out of the net for a clean sheet.
Olympia (1-0) will host crosstown rival Capital (0-1) Tuesday, Sept. 8 at Ingersoll Stadium. The Bears triumphed over the Cougars 5-0 last fall.
