Black Hills had a night to remember from beyond the arc on Tuesday against Aberdeen, as the Wolves hit a season-high 12 three-pointers in a dominant 74-43 victory over the Bobcats.

Six of those threes came in the third quarter, a frame where Black Hills outscored Aberdeen 28-9 to extend its lead to 29.

Kona Bell, Peyton Faught, and James Morgan each hit three threes to lead the way offensively. Bell finished with a career-high 19 points, while Talon Morrill (who also hit two threes) tallied 17, and Morgan added 13 and also grabbed 10 rebounds and six assists to finish with a double-double.

Faught also hit double-figures with 11 points, and Quinton Morrill just missed double-digits with nine.

“Our offensive coordinator Shane Dover and defensive coordinator Michael Snow did an awesome job of having us prepared to play in our half court settings,” Black Hills coach Jeff Gallagher said. “We are lucky to have them. We will sleep on this one tonight and then get ready to play a very good and well-coached Shelton team.”

The Wolves (10-4, 4-1 2A EvCo) will take on the Highlanders in Tumwater on Friday.
