Despite another road trip and some foul trouble, the Black Hills boys basketball team was able to come away with a 56-48 victory in Hoquiam on Friday.

With five minutes left in the third, three starters were already up to four fouls apiece, but Logan Stallings, Cash Buhre, and Hayden Burgess stepped up off the bench to help the Wolves keep their lead going into the fourth.

Quinton Morrill finished with a team-high 21 points, and James Morgan added 14. Kendall Roberson added six off the bench in the second half, and Peyton Faught finished with five points.

Hoquiam was led by Lincoln Niemi, who finished with a game-high 28.

Between trips to Castle Rock, Mountain View, and now Hoquiam, the Wolves have traveled nearly 500 miles to start the year.

Black Hills (2-1) will get to host Elma on Monday and Evergreen (Vancouver) on Tuesday in its first two home games of the season.
