Blues Heating and Air, a full-service HVAC company serving the Olympia area, recently donated wet and dry dog and cat food to Concern for Animals, a news release from Blues stated.
Concern for Animals is an Olympia-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing life-saving services for pets in need throughout Washington's Thurston, Mason, Lewis, and Grays Harbor Counties. The donation supports the organization's pet food bank and weekly financial assistance program for veterinary care that helps keep pets safe, healthy, and in their homes.
Blues employees hand-delivered the donated supplies to support families who need assistance caring for their pets. The company, named after the owner's dog and company logo Blue, plans to continue its local animal welfare initiatives as part of its community outreach efforts.
The contribution joins the efforts of Concern for Animals, which has served thousands of local pets since 1980 and works with over 35 local veterinary and grooming partners throughout the four-county region, according to the release.
Blues Heating and Air, established in Olympia, is a residential HVAC company serving Western Washington with expertise in heating, cooling and heat pump systems.
