The Capital volleyball team dominated Mount Tahoma in a sweep 25-17, 25-9, 25-15, Wednesday night for their biggest win in the scoresheet this season.
Capital has won back-to-back games following a three-game skid. The Cougars were led by Claire Anderson with 12 kills and Taeva Hartman with eight kills, nine digs and four aces. Tess Haws also supplied five aces.
“It was nice to be able to play everyone during the game. In the first set, we didn’t play our best, but we were able to pull it out,” Capital head coach Maia Nichols said. “Then we got into a nice groove for the second and third sets.”
Capital (3-3, 2-3 Puget Sound League) will host Silas on Tuesday, Sept. 29.
