EvCo girls outlook: Wide open league expected for 2025-26

The cream of the crop in the Evergreen Conference has been W.F. West. Through the early non-league portion of the schedule, it appears new blood may rise to the top.

Centralia is off to a 6-0 start, already surpassing last year’s win total, under third year head coach Austin Danielson. The trio of seniors – Ayana Saucedo, Brooklyn Sprague and Makenzie Erickson – are experiencing more winning before Christmas than ever.

Reigning league champion W.F. West still has plenty of firepower with Dilyn Boeck back in the fold and the return of Joy Cushman, a constant contributor as a freshman. Her younger sister Drees Cushman is expected to be the top post in the offense.

Tyler Venable and Natalie Buchanan are the top two scorers in Black Hills’ 5-2 start. Venable has already gotten over 30 points twice and Buchanan has been a force on the glass with a couple double-doubles.

For Tumwater, it's under a new head coach in Dom Hunter. Two of the T-Birds three losses have come against 2B programs. Kamryn Wilson and Maesyn Williams have been the headliners through the first month of the year.
