The Evergreen State College men's basketball team nearly delivered a senior night comeback for the home crowd Tuesday, but Northwest University weathered a late surge to defeat the Geoducks 82-74 in a Cascade Collegiate Conference matchup at the Costantino Recreation Center.
Evergreen erased a 14-point deficit with just over nine minutes remaining in the second half and briefly took the lead, only to see the Eagles respond down the stretch to secure the road victory.
