Four Wolves hit double-figures in win over Tigers

The Black Hills Wolves picked up another EvCo win on Tuesday, topping Centralia 74-52 for their fifth win in six games.

Four different Wolves hit double-figures in the win, including Tyler Venable, who led the way with 27 points, eight steals, and five rebounds. 

Haley McMahon added 14 points, Natalie Buchanan scored 12 points, and Taylor Morrison scored 10. Buchanan also added five assists, four rebounds, and a pair of steals.

Ella Jarmin scored four, and Ellie Johnson scored two points and brought down five rebounds of her own. Megan Dolby scored three points and nabbed three steals, and Cassidy O’Reilly scored a pair.

Ayana Saucedo led Centralia with 10 points, while Maddie Ahern and Makenzie Erickson both scored nine and Estella Bussanich scored eight. Both Aniela Gunn and Emma Ferch scored five, and Lillian Negron and Kendyl Guenther scored two apiece.

Centralia (11-9, 2-7 2A EvCo) will be the No. 4 seed from the EvCo in the upcoming district tournament, but first, the Tigers will end their regular season at home against W.F. West on Thursday.

The Wolves (12-8, 5-4 2A EvCo) could still finish as high as No. 2 seed, and they will also wrap up their regular season on Thursday, when they host Aberdeen.
