Saint Martin’s men’s golfer Jacob Parker placed 15th with an overall score of 144 (+0) to lead the Saints at the Western Washington Invitational Monday, Sept. 28 at the Bellingham Golf & Country Club.
The Saints placed 12th out of 15 teams with a combined score of 599 (+23) across two rounds. Rounds one and two were played as planned on Sept. 28, before inclement weather canceled round three on Sept. 29. Saint Martin’s saw a 17-stroke improvement from round one to round two.
Parker shot 75 (+3) in round one and improved to a 69 (-3) in round two.
Rasmus Tamker placed 29th, shooting 147 (+3) across the two rounds. He started off with an 80 (+8) in round one and shot 67 (-5) in round two. Tamker’s 67 is the lowest round by a Saints golfer since the 2024 GNAC Championships.
Luke Cheplak placed 47th, recording an overall score of 150 (+6). He shot 76 (+4) in round one and 74 (+2) in round two. Kush Shah placed 77th, posting a 158 (+14) with an 83 (+11) in round one and a 75 (+3) in round two.
Davis Sheets (161) placed 82nd, and Anthony Uehara (163) finished in 83rd.
The Saints will next head to Hawaii to compete at the Dennis Rose Intercollegiate from Oct. 26 through Oct. 27 and the HPU Sharks Shootout from Oct. 30 through Oct. 31.
