Senior guard Jenna Glenzel from The Evergreen State College was named Honorable Mention All-Cascade Collegiate Conference. Glenzel finished the season among the national leaders in the NAIA in free-throw percentage and steals per game while setting school records in both categories.

Glenzel, from Eugene, Oregon, graduated from South Eugene High School and attended Chemeketa Community College before transferring to Evergreen.

“It is well-deserved for an exceptional person,” Evergreen head women’s basketball coach Derrick Pringle said in a release. “After missing the 2024-25 season recovering from a knee injury, they were dedicated during the offseason, putting in a rigorous rehabilitation regiment so they could be ready for this last run. All the hard work paid off. Once they were cleared to resume play, Jenna poured their heart and soul into the team and season, playing all 23 games.”

Glenzel averaged 13.1 points per game to tie for the team lead in scoring and tie for ninth in the CCC. Glenzel led the Geoducks and the CCC with a school-record 89 steals and 3.9 steals per game, while tying for fourth in the NAIA in that category.

In addition, Glenzel topped the Geoducks this season with 6.4 rebounds per game, while setting the Evergreen record with a 91.3% free-throw percentage. Glenzel’s percentage ranked second in the CCC and was tied for third in the NAIA.
