Lacey seeks input on stormwater management

Posted

The City of Lacey invites community members to share their thoughts on how the city manages stormwater by taking a short, online survey now through Monday, April 20, a news release from the city stated.

Public feedback will help guide priorities for future stormwater-related projects and improvements.

Stormwater is rainwater that flows over hard surfaces such as roads, sidewalks, and parking lots and into storm drains, creeks, and lakes. As it travels, stormwater can collect pollutants  such as oil, pet waste, trash, and yard debris that may ultimately enter and impact local waterways.

The survey is available at SurveyMonkey.com/r/LaceyStormwaterSurvey.
