The River Ridge girls swim team saw a handful of slashed times in a 76-66 loss to Lincoln Tuesday afternoon.
River Ridge led for the majority of the meet until Lincoln won the 200-yard freestyle relay and each ensuing event. Two Hawks won their respective events, including Emily Wlodkowski in the 100-yard freestyle at 1:21.98 and Rosalie Ponce in the 200-yard individual medley at 3:28.25.
Arizona Fouts (second place at 32.36 seconds) and Wlodkowski (third at 32.50 seconds) each set a new personal record in the 50-yard freestyle.
Ruby Ripp also broke her lifetime best in the 100-yard freestyle at 1:26.10 to take second place, and Brennan Gore blew past her previous 500-yard freestyle record by 15 seconds, finishing in 8:08.45 and in third place behind Fouts.
Madison Davis’ second-place 100-yard breaststroke time of 1:37.73 was six seconds better than her previous PR.
River Ridge finished in second place in all three relays, crossing the finish line in the 200-yard medley relay at 2:42.14, the 200-yard freestyle relay at 2:24.90, and the 400-yard freestyle relay at 6:00.38.
River Ridge’s next meet is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 24 at Central Kitsap.
