Seven Saints named to All-GNAC baseball list

Seven Saint Martin’s baseball players earned recognition on the 2026 GNAC baseball all-conference teams Tuesday.

Junior outfielder Noah Albanese led the way with first-team recognition, while Alohi Arecchi and Kelton Tom earned spots on the second team. Evan Nicol, Nikki Scott II, Hudson Normand and Blaze Wong earned all-conference honorable mentions.

Albanese led the Saints with 52 hits this season, ranking 10th in the GNAC. He ranked in the top 10 in walks and third with 24 stolen bases, all while hitting .304 from the plate.

Arecchi started in 35 games for the Saints and compiled a .277 batting average with 31 total hits. He tallied 11 RBIs, 24 walks and 18 runs scored.

Tom was a mainstay behind home plate for the Saints, playing in 37 games and starting 28. He totaled 23 hits, 14 RBIs and 11 runs while hitting .258.



Nicol was a model of consistency for the Saints, playing in all 51 games and starting 50. He hit .284 and totaled 42 hits, 17 RBIs and 17 runs.

Wong led the Saints with five wins this season and saw his career strikeout total eclipse 100. He pitched a 6.06 ERA and threw two complete games, one of which was a complete game shutout, while totaling 68.1 innings across the season.

Scott II also passed 100 career strikeouts this season, striking out 62 batters this season to rank fifth in the GNAC. He tallied a 5.21 ERA and earned three victories, one of which was a complete game shutout.

Normand pitched a 5.82 ERA and struck out 36 batters across 68 innings pitched for the Saints, picking up one win this season.
