Southard, Rochester win Evergreen League Tournament

The Rochester bowling team capped its regular season with a win last week, and on Tuesday, they won the Evergreen League Tournament to finish as the 1A/2A/3A Evergreen Conference League Champions.

The Warriors finished right at 3,000 pins, finishing 118 points ahead of second-place W.F. West and 150 ahead of third-place Centralia.

Natalie Southard placed first overall individually, bowling a school record 235 and posting a series score of 601.



Centralia’s Lily Guerrero finished second individually with 507, while W.F. West’s Kenley Fragner took third with a 496.

Rochester’s Ava Clouse added a high game of 194 en route to a sixth-place finish, while Lilly Richter added a high game of 185 while finishing 12th.

Next up for the Warriors, Tigers, and Bearcats is the District 4 Championships on Friday at Triangle Bowl in Longview.
