Runners are coming to Lacey on April 25 to “Stride for Sight” with the Olympia Host Lions.
This second annual 5k, 10k and free one-mile fun run takes place on a USATF certified course along the Chehalis Western Trail.
Runners will step off at 9 a.m. from Horizons Elementary School at 4601 67th Ave SE in Lacey.
The $40 registration fee includes a T-shirt.
Registration for the family friendly one mile course is free and strollers are welcome.
Blind or low-vision runners are welcome on any course. Sighted guides for blind or low-vision runners can run for free.
All proceeds from the event benefit the Lions Low Vision Resource Center in Olympia, providing free loaned equipment, training on low vision devices, outings and peer support for people with failing or limited vision.
