With Christmas approaching, Santa Claus is set to make another appearance in the area this Saturday, Dec. 13, at the Tenino Depot Museum to hear what the children in South Thurston County hope to get for Christmas.
Santa will be at the Tenino Depot Museum — located at 399 Park Ave. W. in Tenino — from noon to 4 p.m. according to a Depot Museum Facebook event post.
“The halls are decked for Christmas,” the post stated. “Come see the Depot Museum, school house and caboose lit up with old fashion Christmas cheer. We will have treats, caroling, a scavenger hunt, crafts, the Christmas model train, and Santa! Come join the fun.”
On display outside of the Depot Museum is a 1923 Great Northern Railway caboose which underwent a two-year renovation process completed in 2022 as previously reported by The Chronicle.
