Tied at one and with under five minutes left in regulation plus stoppage time, the Beavers were called for a foul in the box and the Bulldogs fired home the go-ahead penalty kick to triumph 2-1 on Tuesday night in an Evergreen League thriller.
Tenino (1-1, 1-1 Evergreen) had one goal in the match coming from Miguel Espinoza in the 37th minute. Other than that, it proved to be tough sledding against one of the consistent best teams in the league.
The Beavers will play for the first time on their blacktop versus Forks on Thursday.
