Tenino senior pitcher Chloe Grayless only needed 43 pitches to steamroll through the Rochester lineup, throwing a five-inning perfect game as the Beavers beat the Warriors 10-0 Thursday on senior night.

With the victory, the Tenino Beavers clinched a berth in the District 4 1A tournament.

After Tenino tallied the first run in the first inning, the Beavers blew the game open with a seven-run second inning, highlighted by a two-run double by Kylie Gonia and a two-run double by Tamara Snodderly.

“The girls looked amazing, and it was a heck of a way to celebrate the seniors tonight,” Tenino head coach Chris Johnson said. “Super proud of the girls. Now, we start playing games and start prepping for districts.”

Gonia and Snodderly each finished with three RBIs, while Jaeleen Woodward, Macie Scharber, Preslee Fisher and Callie Mickelson each had two hits.

Next up for Tenino (6-11, 2-5 Evergreen) is a road non-league contest at Castle Rock Friday afternoon, while Rochester (1-15, 0-8 Evergreen) will visit Onalaska (8-7, 2-4 Central 2B League) that same day.
