Jeremiah Lewis and Caleb Bowden of the South Puget Sound Community College men’s basketball team were named to the All-NWAC West Region First Team. Elijah “Jack” Mack earned a selection to the All-Defensive Team for the NWAC West Region.
Lewis led the Clippers with 14.7 points per game, 9.7 rebounds per game and 1.0 blocks per game. He shot an estounding 66.8% from the field and posted more than 20 points six times. The sophomore center recorded 12 double-doubles during the season.
Bowden, a sophomore guard/forward, ranked second on the team with 13.4 points per game. He shot 46.4% from the field and 28.9% from 3-point range. Bowden surpassed 20 points three times this season, including 28 against Southwestern Oregon in the NWAC Tournament on Wednesday. His scoring averaged jumped from 8.7 points per game last year to 13.4 this season.
Mack, a freshman guard from Colorado, was third on the team at 13.1 points per game and averaged a team-high 2.1 steals per game. He also ranked second on the Clippers with 2.6 assists per contest.
