Thurston County to host “Create a Healthier Home” community presentation

Staff from Thurston County Public Health & Social Services (TCPHSS) will host a free presentation to share information about how to create a healthier home, according to a TCPHSS news release. 

The presentation will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, at the Lacey Timberland Library, 500 College St SE, Lacey. 

It will cover simple, low-cost ways to create a healthier home and how to:

• Identify, store, and dispose of household hazardous products
• Choose safer cleaning products
• Improve indoor air quality
• Prevent and clean up mold safely

Additionally, attendees will receive a free safer cleaning kit with supplies worth over $40, with a limit of one per household, the release stated.
