Tenino swept the season series with Rochester plus won a Class 1A District 1/4 tournament game, but both South Thurston County programs had a pair of players on the all-league second team.
Jaeleen Woodward and Katen Burkhardt were the two representatives for the Beavers while Addi Morgan and Charlie Culp, two of the most veteran players for Rochester, garnered all-league honors. Montesano’s star third baseman Lex Stanfield was named as the Evergreen League’s MVP, as voted by the coaches.
Woodward led the Beavers with a .505 on base percentage and had just two errors defensively while Burkhardt was their No. 2 starter all season and won three games.
Morgan paced the Rochester lineup with a .356 batting average and Culp had the highest OPS (.927) and slugging percentage (.520). Here are the complete all-league teams:
