The Black Hills volleyball team overcame a two-set deficit on Tuesday night in Mossyrock, battling back to earn a 21-25, 23-25, 25-20, 25-18, 15-3 five-set victory.
“Our team played great tonight,” Black Hills coach Kendra Dunn said. I am proud of how they responded to the challenge of being down 2-0. It was a great team effort from everyone.”
Lilly Worthen tallied 13 kills, 10 assists, and four aces, Tyler Venable added 15 kills and nine aces, and Tessa Truett dished out 15 assists.
Black Hills has now won six straight games to open the season, and the Wolves will look to make it seven at Rainier on Thursday.
Mossyrock (2-1) will be back at home the same evening, when Toutle Lake comes to town for a non-league clash.
