The Black Hills girls soccer team snapped its three-game winless streak on Tuesday, topping Toledo 2-0 on its home turf.
Cassidy O’Reilly scored in the 22nd minute to give the Wolves the lead, and Marley Voorhies doubled the advantage just two minutes before the halftime whistle.
“We put a lot of work this week into improving things we were seeing in our last couple of games,” Black Hills coach Jordan Owen said. “The girls showed up hungry tonight and it showed in our play. It feels good to bounce back before league play starts. We’re super proud of them.”
Black Hills (2-2-1) will be at home again on Thursday to host North Thurston, while Toledo (2-1) will look to get back in the win column at home against Aberdeen next Tuesday, Sept. 22.
