Thurston County Public Works is notifying residents of the initiation of the Littlerock Road Southwest and 113th Avenue Southwest Bridge Replacement and Intersection Improvements Project.
Work is expected to begin Monday, May 4, starting with alternating one-way traffic with delays.
This project will replace the bridge over Blooms Ditch, add a left‑turn pocket at 113th Avenue Southwest, upgrade signage and markings, and install additional street lighting.
As part of this work, Littlerock Road Southwest between 113th Avenue Southwest and 110th Avenue Southwest will be closed to through traffic starting Monday, June 15 until Saturday, Oct. 3.

Funding for this project is largely provided by a federal Surface Transportation Block Grant.
