A 48-year-old Mason County woman died after she lost control of her vehicle on state Route 106 near Skokomish on Christmas Eve.
Speed and drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The woman, whose name has not been released by the Washington State Patrol, was reportedly driving a 2016 Hyundai Tucson eastbound on state Route 106 when she lost control of the vehicle near milepost three.
A Washington State Patrol incident report indicates that the Tucson left the roadway, rolled and came to rest in a ditch.
Troopers were dispatched at approximately 4:23 p.m. on Dec. 24.
The woman was declared dead at the scene.
