The Rainier football team clinched a postseason berth on Saturday, when the Mountaineers defeated Toutle Lake 62-24.
The Mountaineers were rolling on offense throughout the first half, as they scored three touchdowns in the first before adding four more in the second to take a 50-18 lead into the break.
With the win, Rainier (4-4, 2-2 C2BL East) will enter crossover week as the East’s No. 3 seed, which means the Mountaineers will hit the road to face the West’s No. 1 — Adna, Napavine, or Forks — in Week 10.
