The Tenino girls tennis team swept three singles matches against Hoquiam on Friday, setting the stage for a 4-2 road victory.
Chloe Suess, Kyla Watson, and Eva Wegleben each won their singles matches in straight sets, while Izzy Schnase and Gracie Sweet also earned a victory in the top doubles match.
“Our team had a solid day of tennis and got a well-earned team win,” Tenino coach Sam Shea said. “The singles players came out strong and held up a competitive level of play their whole matches, and our doubles teams communicated well and worked together on court coverage.”
Tenino will return home to host Montesano on Tuesday.
