The Evergreen State College men’s soccer goalkeeper Tom Cole piled up a career-high 14 saves, but the Geoducks fell to Rocky Mountain College 3-0 Thursday afternoon in Billings, Montana.
Cole’s 14 saves are tied for the fourth most in a game in Evergreen history.
Rocky Mountain netted two goals in the first half, and Luke Tooze scored his second goal of the game in the 73rd minute. The Battlin’ Bears recorded 35 shots, with 18 on target, while Evergreen took just one shot.
Evergreen (2-2-3, 0-2-1 Cascade Collegiate Conference) will conclude its Montana road trip Saturday at Carroll College in Helena.
