The Olympia girls soccer team is catching fire at the right time, as the Bears clinched their fourth straight victory with a 2-1 verdict at Bonney Lake on Thursday, Oct. 22.
Junior Mika Meconi scored both of Olympia’s goals in the first half, first on an assist by Malia Satre in the 29th minute and then in the 36th from Parker Udo. Bonney Lake’s goal came in the final minute of the second half.
Olympia (11-2-2, 7-2-1 South Puget Sound League) moves into third place in the league and can clinch sole possession of third place with a win over South Kitsap (10-4-1, 7-2-1 SPSL) on Tuesday, Oct. 27.
