The Tumwater football team earned its second shutout win of the season on Friday night, dominating Ridgefield at home 41-0 to improve to 6-0.
The Thunderbirds scored all 41 of their points in the first half, scoring twice on Tyler Briscoe rushing touchdowns, once on a Jayden Hinchcliffe rushing TD, and once on a touchdown pass from Jake Reid to Ethan Bello.
They also scored twice on defense, as both Briscoe and Bello returned interceptions for touchdowns.
Defensively, the T-Birds only gave up one first down in the first half, and it was because of a defensive penalty.
“It was a good night for both sides of the football,” Tumwater coach William Garrow said. “The defense played extremely physical, and the offense executed well, scored quickly, and generally played a clean game as well.”
Tumwater (6-0) will begin EvCo play next Friday, Oct. 16 in Aberdeen.
