The South Puget Sound Community College men’s soccer team scored a season-high five goals in a 5-1 victory over Pierce College on Wednesday, Oct. 21.
It’s also the most goals the Clippers have scored since they put six in the net on Sept. 24, 2025, against Centralia College.
SPSCC’s Ebrahim Shihadeh had his fingerprints all over the first half with a goal in the 21st minute and two assists. Taylor Masson opened the scoring in the 15th minute, and Humberto Martinez gave the Clippers a 3-1 advantage in the 27th minute.
In the second half, Masson recorded his second goal in the 72nd minute, and Tenyu Funato added a goal in the 83rd from an assist by Stone Ausman.
SPSCC took just nine shots, but five found the back of the net. Andrew Lang tallied seven saves at goalkeeper.
Both of SPSCC’s wins this season have been against Pierce College. The Clippers (2-10-2, 2-8-2 NWAC) will host Centralia College on Saturday, Oct. 24.
